Review: Exilir Strings
Rating you give the Elixir Strings: 5 - Best thing I ever played

Likes: Very easy to play. Improves speed. Was told pull offs were very hard to do because of the coating "BS" I wish I would of tried these ages ago. I can burn out a set of Ernie Balls in 2 or 3 hrs, I play 3 to 4 hrs a day and have yet to see any dirt or even a change in color with these strings. They have been on the guitar for 2 wks now and are still like the day I put them on. Truly amazing strings. I play a lot of heavy chugn stuff and these strings can take the abuse, have yet to break one.

Dislikes: Price..

Additional Comments: All I can say is, give'em a try. I searched a lot of forum reviews on these strings and only came across one bad review forum. Half the people sounded like wannabees and didn't even know what they were talking about in the first place. I play the 10's and when tuned to standard they are like 11's.. No real issue for me though as i play a lot of drop tunning anyway.

Rating you give the Elixir Nanoweb strings: 4 - Highly recommend it

Likes: Great light gauge strings with a full, bright sound for acoustic playing where you do a lot of bending and left hand tremolo. Strings settled quickly and stay in tune fast. ...no tarnish, long lasting strings.

Dislikes: A little pricey (at most places)

Additional Comments: I recently decided I wanted to learn all the fills and two solos for Sultans of Swing. I always used medium gauge martins, but they were way to rigid. I was afraid I'd need to go to a very light gauge string, but I didn't want to loose sustain and bell-ringing tone of the med's. These strings were the answer.

Like about the Elixir nanowebs: Absolutely changed the tone and made my guitar so much easier on the fingers to play

Dislike about the Elixirs: absolutely no dislikes!!
