Last year's Martin D-18 Authentic turned alot of heads and made many people re-evaluate their guitar collection. This new D-28 Authentic sounds more like the D-18A than I thought any rosewood guitar ever could. My favorite rosewood dread is the D-28 Marquis, and its fair to say that the D-28A is all of that and more. The D-28A has a tone like no other rosewood guitar in current Martin production. Does that make this one THE best?  Worth the price tag? For 50 lucky people I suspect the answer is yes.
