Review: D12-28 Martin
Rating you give the Martin D1228: 4 - Highly recommend it

Likes: This Martin is the Sweetest sound. I plaid 2 Taylors and some other cheaper models like the Ovation, before I ordered a new Martin it is spectacular and action is like butter.

Dislikes: There are none if you're looking for a 12 string by the Martin D12-28.

Additional Comments: I love this the D12 -28. I spent many hours on Craigslist looking for a 12 string I found nothing I am glad I ordered this 1 new from the factory it is awesome. I can't wait for my friends to get a chance to play it

Rating you give the Martin D1228:  4 - Highly recommend it

Likes:  Very easy to play. Everyone who picks it it up says the same thing. It stays in tune and has a very sweet sound.

Dislikes:  Can't say there is anything to dislike. Any time you find a guitar that sounds so good and is so easy to play even for a twelve string, what can you say.

Additional Comments:  Martin people are good people as well as the Taylor folks. I've toured both facilities and both are first class.

Like about the Martin D1228:  Good solid guitar with rich sound - not as "angelic" as a Taylor but sits well in the mix due to good treble/bass balance.

Dislike about the Martin D12-28:  The trim is whiter than usual 28 spec & does look a trifle stark against the spruce.

Additional Comments:  I was torn between a Taylor a Guild & this.  All excellent but the Martin took the biscuit for depth & consistency.  Plus it sounds great against my HD28V!
