Likes: Outstanding action. Great balance, volume and projection. Better than the D28s or the D18s that I previously owned by a large margin.
Dislikes: Wish it had an Adirondack top.
Additional Comments: Built for finger picking and makes a great guitar for someone used to a wider classical neck.

Like about the Martin HD-28VS: A really loud,well balanced sound with lots of bass response-I'm a bassplayer...most of the time!! Anyway.... Great dynamics-can an acoustic guitar get any better??

Additional Comments: I like the slotted headstock,the tuners are very accurate-perfect pitch right out of the case,everytime. This is a guitar for players who likes to have a real "headroom" when they play-this guitar can keep up with resonatorguitars when it comes to volume!!! Simply one of the greatest guitars the Martin Company has ever built.
