Likes: Compared to my Larivee LV09, and my Taylor 414 ce it is comparable in everyway, but with a voice all its own. I love it. The Taylor is brighter and more brittle, the Larivee is a little more bell like in the trebles, but the Martin has superior bass while still having clear and bright treble. It has lots of sustain with all notes even. The workmanship is very good. This Martin does not sound overly mellow and dull like many Martins I have heard. I haven't plugged it in yet, but the aura system should excell.
Dislikes: A guitar in this price range should have a better case. It sounds better with Cleartone light strings.
Additional Comments: The additional width of the fret board is welcome for fingerstyle playing. The action is perfect out of the box.

Like about the Martin OMC Aura: First, the guitar is a work of art, beautifully executed. Unplugged, the sound is clear and bright, yet the bass notes are surprisingly strong for a smaller body guitar. The built in chromatic tuner, by the way, is very accurate, and is more sensitive than most electronic tuners that I have used. Now for the really good part! Plugged in and set for 100% Aura sound image, the sound will blow you away. It is the best sound that I ever heard come out of a guitar that wasn't in a studio.
Dislike about the Martin OMC Aura: The Type 630 case is not up to the craftmanship of the guitar. The molded exterior is fine, but the interior looks cheap.
Additional Comments: The great sound, quality of the woods, craftsmanship, luxury appointments, and the Fishman Aura system, makes this a real buy.....especially at Maury's killer price.
