	I am thinking o getting a BR-40 and wanted to know if the laminated back and sides was very noticeable vs. solid mahogany? Thanks, Bill

	You will hear very little difference in the tone quality, between the BR-40 and BR-140.

	To my ears, I hear more resonance & sustain from the all-solid 140. The laminates are a good value but I can hear a difference. Your mileage may vary.
