I purchased a Martin D-41 from Maury about 5 weeks ago, so I had plenty of time for dreams and nightmares. It arrived today (well, actually I accosted the UPS driver at my local shopping center this morning because I couldn't wait till 4 or 5pm). This guitar far exceeds my expectations. The action is perfect (factory set-up), it plays like butter and the sound is extraordinary. It sounds better than anything I have played in the stores. I was VERY apprehensive about purchasing this guitar without playing it first, but between Martin's quality and consistency, and Maury's good service, there was nothing to worry about and I would do it again.
As far as the D-41 goes, the balance, the tone and the sustain are incredible, and combined with the beauty of this guitar - it's a perfect package. I have saved for this guitar for the past 5 years and Maury's price made it possible. It was worth the wait.
