I owned a DC15E at one time but this guitar blows that one out of the water. Martin made some changes that have really improved the sound of the D-15. The simple dovetail joint is a big improvement. The rosette is now inlaid rather than a decal like the old D-15 had. My Burst has a beautiful top and back that have some figure. But, most of all, I am floored at how amazing this guitar sounds! I have a custom shop 000-18 that cost much more and this little D-15M Burst is right up there on par in quality of sound. Definitely check this one out!
