Brought the Life Back to My Guitar!
Had to replace the TUSQ saddle in my Martin X Series dreadnought. This new bone saddle made my guitar sound more like a solid wood guitar than it did before! The volume and tone from string-to-string is WAY more balanced. More than enough height to sand to perfect fit, could have been wider to sand but still fits good; not tight enough that it doesn't fall out if you flip the guitar over with no strings, but there is nothing left to be desired in tone to consider it an issue. Then there is the PERFECT INTONATION. Honestly the intonation with this replacement is noticeably better than it was with the stock TUSQ saddle. In conclusion, I will definitely be buying saddles from Maury for any future upgrades/repairs! Couldn't be happier!

Update To Prev. Review
After using the saddle for awhile, the two steel strings have begun to dig into the bone enough so that they dropped approx 1/64". I had set the relief to .012 (and check it regularly) and had the string height at 4/64 treb and 6/64. Now on the treble side it's down to 3/64" (bass still at 6/64) and causing me a few issues. I understand this would be hard to prevent but I'm definitely going to have to replace the saddle again at some point now to avoid the bit of buzz I'm getting. Still would recommend
