We're very sorry but certain situations have arisen that have pointed us in this direction. It wasn’t a decision we rushed into or have taken lightly. Combined with the fact that we`ve just been overwhelmed with the Martin side of things - it makes more sense to allocate our Blueridge budget, promotional efforts and floor space to the ever-growing Martin lineup.
We`d prefer to keep some details private between Saga and Maury`s. Thank you for understanding.
Blueridge 14-Fret, Tenor guitar
All of our Blueridge BR40T Tenor guitars are brand new, factory-fresh, and in unplayed condition. Hardshell cases and padded gig bags are available.
The Blueridge BR-40 Tenor guitar is a reproduction of a classic O-sized tenor guitar that was prominent in the late 1920's. The tenor guitar was designed as an instrument that would allow the tenor banjoist to double on guitar. As the six-string guitar gradually replaced the banjo in the Big Bands, the 4 string tenor found it's way into Dixieland, Western Swing and country fiddle bands. Just like the classic original, this Blueridge BR-40T tenor guitar features a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides and a mahogany neck that joins the body at the 14th fret.
