Blueridge BR-371
Blueridge 12-Fret, Parlor guitar

All of our Blueridge BR371 guitars are brand new, factory-fresh & come with a Blueridge padded gig bag.

The BR-371 is based on the classic parlor guitars built in the early 20th Century when guitars were indeed played by ladies and gentlemen. Only the finest materials are used in the construction of this remarkable guitar. Select, solid East Indian rosewood was chosen for the back and sides while the top is made of Select Solid Sitka spruce. Stunning, hand-inlaid strips of precisely-cut abalone shell outline the entire top and circle the sound-hole rosette. The grained ivoroid buttons on the tuning machines match the body binding on the body and neck. Rare, dense black Ebony is used for the bridge and fingerboard. The smaller body size makes this instrument ideal for travel!

Another version of a Blueridge 12-Fret Parlor guitar is also available:

What a really nice surprise! I purchased this guitar because I needed a small body acoustic with a wider nut width to replace my beloved OM-41sp (it's all good -- the OM is going somewhere very special!). The BR-371 plays, sounds, and looks fantastic. Best: SOUND and playability; very full and great range. Worst: top finish looks like it was applied with a paintbrush! (Exaggeration). Really thick Poly. But beautiful wood, craftsmanship, inlay. A fine instrument! Best of all? Maury's service and set-up. Awesome. Thank you! It ain't a Martin - and some may resent the Chinese manufacture - but it cost less than 1/3 what I'd pay to actually replace the 41sp which I can't afford. Thanks Maury!

I just received my Br-371 today. It is everything and more than I expected. After a quick tuning I began playing and couldn't believe the volume this guitar puts out. The finish is absolutely beautiful and is comparable to the Martin 00-42. I've owned two other Blueridge guitars, the 343 Gospel and the BR-73. and I must say that the quality of these Blueridge guitars has been maintained and even bettered over the years. One great guitar for the money, and speaking of money, Maury had the best price on the web and great customer service.

I've had my BR-371 now for nearly 4 years with the case I got with it appears to longer be offered here. It was the Superior classic hardshell, looks just like the Martin 515 but with gorgeous green interior. I put the John Pearse #510L's on it right away, big difference in the feel. This little gal put my 0028VS to shame. What a nice little guitar. I disagree about the finish looking like it was "painted" on and too thick. I've been professional finisher for a great many years and I can't find any fault with the finish. If I had a complaint (a weak one) I'd like to change out the tuners even though those supplied are very good looking they're just not as mechanically accurate as higher end tuners.

I just received my BR-371 this morning, and I must say it looks and sounds stunning. The factory set up was fine, the fit and finish is flawless. What a beautiful addition to my stable. The guitar was shipped UPS the day I placed my order. Thanks, Maury. I'm sure this is the start of a beautiful friendship!

BR371-What a great guitar

Maurys was so helpful with this purchase... held it for a month while I was away. I got home, it arrived, and I was flabbergasted. What a great guitar. I had been accustomed to a D28-a large guitar. With a booming, balanced sound. I'd figured that this smaller guitar would sound, well, smaller. Wrong. This guitar sounds wonderful, warm, balanced, loud enough, and with shimmering overtones and harmonics that, when I end a simple D chord strum and then hold it, makes this guitar sounds celestial. And maybe a bit haunted! The abalone inlay is lovely. The top is quarter-sawn, has beautiful ray flecks, is narrowly grained and very even.
