All of our Martin 000X2E guitars are brand new, come with a Martin softshell case and Martin Lifetime Warranty.
Martin took the 000X1AE and reimagined it. The result is the 000-X2E. This Auditorium sized model has a spruce top and figured mahogany pattern high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides. New mother-of-pearl pattern inlay on the rosette and fingerboard lend a richness to the 000-X2E, making it as impressive to look at as it is to play. With a Performing Artist neck, fingerboard, and bridge of select hardwood, the sound transfer of this model has been greatly improved. It is equipped with Fishman MX electronics and strung with Martin's Authentic Acoustic Lifespan 2.0 strings. With a new, soft gig bag featuring headstock, bridge, and endpin protectors, a durable water-repellent exterior, and a foam padding, this model is ready to go anywhere.
This is an acoustic-electric guitar, sounding as good through an amp or sound system as it does unplugged, thanks to genuine Fishman electronics. The Martin 000X2E is a very good choice for the budget-minded singer-songwriter, or the sideman playing lead guitar looking for Martin quality and the most tone for the least amount of money.
Being from the X series, the 000X2E is made of the same materials as Ed Sheeran's Martin (before Martin made him his fancier artist signature model,) but the larger 000 body size provides a much more versatile instrument when it comes to volume and projection without the aid of a massive sound system.
