All of our Martin Custom Shop OM Size 28 Style with Engelmann Spruce Top and Abalone Rosette guitars are brand new, factory-fresh, come with a Martin hardshell case and Martin Lifetime Warranty.
In light of his ever-expanding reputation and fan base, Martin's very first collaboration with John Mayer resulted in the creation of a full-dovetail OM-28 with an Engelmann top and narrow nut. John had fallen in love with his OM-28V and Dick Boak coaxed him into choosing Engelmann for the first of several signature models. This tasteful Custom Shop Orchestra Model is more or less a signature-free clone of that original OM-28JM & is also missing some key aluminum appointments unique to that limited edition.
