Martin D-18 Authentic 1939 Left with VTS Left Handed
Martin's Golden Era instruments are still the among the most popular vintage instruments among collectors and with good reason. To this day few would argue that a 1930's Martin stands as one of the finest acoustic instruments ever made due to their wood selection and near flawless attention to detail. With their Authentic series, Martin has taken these same same design values to heart and created as close a representation of a true 1930's era D-18 as possible. Basing their construction on CAT Scans of museum quality Martin guitars, the Martin D-18 Authentic 1939 with VTS is as close to stepping back into the past as you can get. Featuring high quality mahogany back and sides, a solid Adirondack top with Martin's new VTS system, and period correct measurements, appointments, bracing and glues, just one strum on the D-18 Authentic 1939 with VTS will let you know you're playing something truly special. Chances are none of us will ever see time travel in our lives but, thanks to Martin, we really don't need to.
