Martin D-28 Authentic 1941 with VTS
The most recent year Authentic that Martin currently makes, the D-28 Authentic 1941 with VTS is a truly unique instrument in Martin's lineup. Based on a 1941 D-28 in Martin museum, this guitar features Madagascar rosewood back and sides, an Adirondack spruce top, and authentic 1941 appointments, right down to the neck barrel, heel, diamond, head taper, and slots. What truly makes this guitar different are it's rear-shifted braces which give the guitar a very balanced tone without sacrificing any of the low end rumble that Martin dreadnoughts have made their signature. Combine this with Martin's newly released Vintage Tone System treatment and you one of the most versatile dreadnaughts on the market today.
