Martin DCPA4 Rosewood
Martin's DCPA4 Rosewood is a Dreadnought with a Cutaway body in the Performing Artist Series of acoustic-electric guitars at tier 4, with a voice enriched by the sonic warmth and harmonic complexity of tropical East Indian Rosewood.
The DCPA4 Rosewood offers similar quality and construction of the D-16RGT from the 16 Series based in traditional Martin designs, and infuses them with cutting edge technology like Fishman F1 Analog electronics as a standard feature.
Enjoy the luxury of on-board volume and tone controls, along with an easy-to-read LED display, phase shift to avoid feedback at high volume or increase bass at low volume, and an on-board tuner that works even when the guitar is played unplugged.
The Performing Artist Series neck has a sleek, low PA profile and the PA taper gives a little more room at the first position 1-3/4" nut width, but stays narrower up the neck, only 2-1/8" at the 12th fret. It offers the playability of an electric guitar, including high-fret access thanks to the cutaway, all on an acoustic guitat that sounds super sweet unplugged.
And when played acoustically, a full complement of scalloped braces, supporting the high-quality Sitka spruce top is designed to achieve an ideal balance between strength, stability, and resonance, when mining that extra rich tone that solid Indian rosewood brings to the sonic landscape of the Martin DCPA4 Rosewood.
