Guitar Bridge Pin Sizing Guide

Please use the sizing chart below for our Fossilized Walrus Ivory, Persimmon, Ebony, Buffalo Horn & Bone bridge pins.  All of our bridge pins are slotted EXCEPT those made exclusively for Authentic series Martin Guitars.  Inlays are 3mm.

We cannot guarantee a fit as pin holes can wear over time with string changes & some manufacturers "adjust" pin holes to fit the bridge pins they have on hand. **If your guitar isn't listed, we don't carry bridge pins that will fit and we recommend you contact the guitar manufacturer for bridge pin advice and availability.

Size 1

* 3º tapered shaft
* 0.210" diameter at the top of the shaft (just below the skirt)
* string slot running the full length of the shaft, stopping below the skirt.

Size 1.3

*3 degree tapered shaft with the diameter at the top of the shaft (just below the skirt) of .205 and a string slot running the full length of the shaft,stopping below the ball.

Size 2A

* 5º tapered shaft
* 0.220" diameter at the top of the shaft (just below the skirt)
* string slot running the full length of the shaft and cutting through the skirt

Size 2B

* The same as Size 2A except the string slot actually stops 1/16" below the bottom of the skirt.

Size 4.2D

* 5º tapered shaft
* shaft diameter at the top of the shaft is 0.207" and tapers down to 0.144" with a long (0.945") shaft
* the slot runs the full length of the shaft, stopping below the ball
* these pins do not have a skirt - just a slight ridge beneath the ball
* the slot does penetrate this ridge.

Size 4.3

* 3º tapered shaft
* diameter at the top of the shaft is 0.203"
* string slot runs the full length of the shaft
