Likes: I like the concept, very handy to tune fiddle in a noisy environment.
Dislikes: construction poor, very easy to lose the battery cover. became increasingly difficult to switch on and off, finally impossible to switch on at all. Used maybe nine months.
Additional Comments: Poorly designed and/or manufactured tools are such a wind-up. Maybe Snap-on(tm) should have a crack at manufacturing one.

Likes: Conveniently clips to headstock
Dislikes: Discolored Martin head-stock! In Open D, This tuner will only detect 6th, 5th, and 4th strings using har-monics-- but not open strings and then will display the note a 5th above actual pitch much of the time.
Additional Comments: Maybe this works for body sizes smaller than Dread-naughts but it's pretty close to useless for me.

Likes: Responds fast, has auto-off, movable to different ists like uke, etc.
Dislikes: The 5th and 6th string thing is a pain, especially on nylon, but it tunes accurately to an octave (12th-fret) harmonic for those.

Like about the Intelli Tuner: Liked a lot but all cancelled by the fact that it buzzes. Noise is a no good in studios or on stage.
Dislikes: It buzzes. Can't train ear because the buttons buzz. Could be easily overcome with springloaded buttons.

Rating you give the Intelli Tuner: 4 - Highly recommend it
Like about the Intelli IMT-500 Tuner: This lightweight tuner gently clips onto the headstock and uses a needle indicator against a bright backlit display to monitor the frequency of each plucked string. It is easy to use, small and
unobtrusive, and reasonably accurate.
Dislike about the Intelli Tuner: Occasionally, the buttons on the tuner will buzz (vibrate). Some people use a bit of tape to keep the button from vibrating while playing, others simple remove the tuner when done using it. Once locked in, the tuner is slow to react to subtle tuning adjustments.
Additional Comments: Compared to the IntelliTouch PT-1, it has a brighter display and uses a moving needle indicator rather than multiple arrow heads to signal the measured frequency. Both tuners appear to be equally accurate in their measurements, with some problems detecting the low E (although using your thumb or plucking the 12th fret harmonic
solves this problem). The Intelli IMT-500 tuner is less expensive than the comparable (backlit) IntelliTouch PT-1, and by all accounts seems to perform as well, which represents good value for the money.
