Rating you give the Martin 3K Uke: 1 - Save your money
Likes: Highly figured koa. I've seen a few examples and all have been pretty nice.
Dislikes: Rough-feeling "satin" finish on a $1500.00 instrument/Lack of quality control at Martin.
Additional Comments: I ordered and returned two from one of Maury's competitors. The first one sounded decent but one of the strings buzzed. I took it to my repairman and he told me that the neck had a back bow. I sent it back and the replacement didn't sound as good AND it had a tiny ding on the soundboard. This retailer has a showroom and I think that the second one they sent me might have been a showroom model. Either way, I didn't keep it. I was so disappointed that I sent an email complaint to Martin but never received a reply. Save your money on this one.
